“All we have to do is open our eyes to see the beauty that surrounds us” – gwc
Getting good photographs of birds, butterflies, insects and other small subjects
is not an easy task. Knowing how to use the equipment you have or what equipment
you may need is a big part of the learning process, as well as being useful in
getting good photos.

The photo weekends have been designed to help you
accomplish this and provide you with many photo opportunities.
Most of the time will be spent photographing the various subjects and plenty of
time will be provided for helping you develop your photos skills and for
answering questions.
The photographic areas consist of three plus acres that have been developed by a
photographer for photographers. The National Wildlife Federation has designated
the area as a Backyard Wildlife Habitat. Areas have been developed to attract
various birds, butterflies and insects. To date we’ve had over 30 varieties of
birds to visit our photographic areas plus various butterflies, moths, skippers,
chipmunks, squirrels, and reptiles.
